The diary of Levi Chapiewsky

21st Sun.
No work to-day. Washed some clothes and wrote a letter to Mother and Dad. Played horse shoe and catch for a while in the P.M. It was a beautiful day, reminded me of an ideal summer day in Wisconsin. Went to a show “Hey Rookie.” Ann Miller and her legs and the way wiggled in the Morocco dance old Johnny come to life. Funny how something like that should affect me.

  1. I think maybe he wrote “Morocco dance.” The website says there is an Arabian themed dance scene.
(How poignant it is that seeing this movie affected him in ways the idea of girls on shore had not.)
